Tarea
Today was day 1 of school. CRAZINESS. okay. Junior year. whoo. It's not that exciting. Not quite a senior yet, and not quite a freshman, and not quite a sophomore. No excitement!! Only an odd sense of responsibility. So I woke up early this morning. Or rather, Joan woke me up since I forgot to set my alarm.. and then we set out to pass out tracts. Passing out tracts is both encouraging and discouraging at the same time. I got responses that ranged from "I'm glad you guys are passing out the word" and "I don't care about Jesus" and then one that I found amusing "It's not even eight yet *sigh/rollseyes*". Even so, the goal is.. to get that piece of text into your hand! So.. mission accomplished somewhat, I suppose.
Spanish. Yes, I am taking this for fun, but I have a feeling this class will be a lot of work for me.
Tennis. Hooray. He encouraged us to practice on weekends. You know what that means. Play with Esther!! yeah, you.
And then after that, I basically ate a pizza slice in 5 minutes. I'm not kidding. It was amazing and gross. And you thought I couldn't eat fast. I ran onto the bus just in time with grease still dripping off my hand. Orange grease. Visible grease. My face was probably greasy too. I didn't have napkins in my backpack so I used a piece of paper...
And now I'm really really exhausted and it's time for me to do tarea. There will be more attempts in the future to incorporate espanol in my blog. Ok.
P.S.
Amy has restocked the student center snack counter!
And there are these yummy but strange green tea mints from Trader Joe's.
They have the cutest green box...
